Calling ALL parents, yes, that’s you…any and all parents of any student involved in the performing arts at Cromwell High School! 

The Cromwell High School Performing Arts Boosters, or CHSPAB, will have our monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 30^th at 6:30pm in the CHS library. For all you newcomers, we are the fundraising group for the band, choir and drama program. We plan fundraising events, offer assistance to the program by getting parent volunteers together when needed, use our website and social media to promote performing arts events, offer scholarships to graduating seniors, and much more! 

Please join us on November 30^th for our meeting. We will be outlining the 2021-2022 school year, discussing the program’s needs, etc. Please note that following all COVID-19 protocols are mandatory while in any school building, and we must follow the same guidelines as the students do during the day, such as mask wearing and social distancing.

The CHSPAB did a great job raising $1140.00 at the Election Day Bake Sale! SO MANY parents offered an amazing amount of support as well as community members. Thanks to all volunteers, parents, and students. We witnessed so many people eager to donate to the arts, from purchasing baked goods for themselves and then some, to others who just dropped money in the jar to donate without wanting anything in return! We are looking forward to a great year with these students, and your help is always much needed and hugely appreciated!

ELECTION DAY BAKE SALE! Tuesday November ^2nd. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! The CHSPAB is looking for parents and students to bake/donate goods to sell on Election Day. We will also be in need of volunteers to run the concessions, help set up and break down, etc. Please click on the links below to volunteer, and also please share the links with any parents you know who have students in the performing arts. The Cromwell High School Drama Department will be presenting its 2021 production of CLUE on March 27th, 2021. This year with the pandemic, the two casts have been working tirelessly since November to put this production together. It would mean the world to the students to have your support. Since there will be no live audience, we have decided to offer an online streaming of each show​. The casts have already concluded recording the show and it is now in post production. CLUE will premier online as follows:

The CHSPAB is seeking new board members!

Per our bylaws, elections will take place at the May monthly meeting. The board positions include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Communications/Liaison.

The board members have discussed in great length the importance of new leadership for the 2021-2022 school year. With electing new board members for next year, the current members are committed and available to support an incoming board. We will be “right by your side” to assist throughout the school year in order to keep this group intact and running strong for Ray, Karly, and our students. 

Electing new board members this May is the best scenario for the boosters program to thrive! Without new board interest this year, the current board will not be here to help transition new board members for the following year. It is also our opinion that turnover will keep the energy strong! The CHSPAB is a wonderful group to be a part of, very satisfying and a lot of fun. Leading this group is even more rewarding! We are committed to handing over a “well-oiled machine” to new board members. We welcome and encourage parents to consider running for board positions!

Greetings, Boosters! We hope everyone is having a great and safe new year so far! We apologize for the cancelation of our January and February meetings, however, we are gearing up for the rest of the school year. With students returning to school soon for more in-person learning, we remain hopeful that they will have even more opportunities to participate in performing arts activities. The CHSPAB board members met in February to regroup and discuss ways we can support the program for the remainder of this year. 

On that note, we will be looking to brainstorm at our next meeting, Thursday March 18^th for fundraising ideas for the end of this year. We will be offering our usual scholarships and providing graduating seniors with gifts. At minimum, we would like to replenish these funds. We encourage all parents to attend this next meeting!
