Meeting Cancelled for June 7th
The CHSPAB will not be meeting on June 7th, our tasks for the 2021-2022 school year have been completed, and we had a great year thanks to all of the parent and student support. The board will be meeting before the start of the 2022-2023 school year to begin planning, PLEASE check back for updates as we may be hosting a big fundraiser for this September. Also, check back for scheduled meetings; we have a big year coming up to support these awesome students!

A huge thank you to the CHS Performing Arts Booster families and to all the cast/crew parents who generously volunteered their time helping the cast backstage, working the concession and shout out/raffle tables, decorating the lobby and for the fantastic cast/crew shout out boxes and beautiful cast/crew picture boards. Also a big thanks to the parents who generously donated water, snacks, candy and dinners. We were able to raise just over $2000! We appreciate ALL you did to help make this musical a HUGE success!

Great Meeting!
Thanks to all parents who joined us this past Tuesday at our monthly CHSPAB meeting. It was very productive, positive and we were joined by the student representative for TRI-M! We covered a lot of ground that will be detailed in the minutes. We talked about concessions for The Wedding Singer, future new fundraising ideas etc. We also had interest in new board members, a motion was made to have elections at our January 11th meeting. Elections are typically held in June, however seeing as we had interest at this time, and 2020 was a rough and disconnected year for all, it was decided this is a perfect opportunity for a smooth transition for new board members. The current board members are dedicated to helping with this transition.

Calling ALL parents, yes, that’s you…any and all parents of any student involved in the performing arts at Cromwell High School!
The Cromwell High School Performing Arts Boosters, or CHSPAB, will have our monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 30th at 6:30pm in the CHS library. For all you newcomers, we are the fundraising group for the band, choir and drama program. We plan fundraising events, offer assistance to the program by getting parent volunteers together when needed, use our website and social media to promote performing arts events, offer scholarships to graduating seniors, and much more!
Please join us on November 30th for our meeting. We will be outlining the 2021-2022 school year, discussing the program’s needs, etc. Please note that following all COVID-19 protocols are mandatory while in any school building, and we must follow the same guidelines as the students do during the day, such as mask wearing and social distancing.

Bake Sale Results!
The CHSPAB did a great job raising $1140.00 at the Election Day Bake Sale! SO MANY parents offered an amazing amount of support as well as community members. Thanks to all volunteers, parents, and students. We witnessed so many people eager to donate to the arts, from purchasing baked goods for themselves and then some, to others who just dropped money in the jar to donate without wanting anything in return! We are looking forward to a great year with these students, and your help is always much needed and hugely appreciated!
ELECTION DAY BAKE SALE! Tuesday November 2nd. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! The CHSPAB is looking for parents and students to bake/donate goods to sell on Election Day. We will also be in need of volunteers to run the concessions, help set up and break down, etc. Please click on the links below to volunteer, and also please share the links with any parents you know who have students in the performing arts. We will be raising money to support the programs and scholarships for this school year!
